• Same day delivery to Mater Hospitals and Queensland Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane is available if orders are received by 2 pm (EST) between Monday and Friday. No deliveries are available on Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays.

For hospitals and nursing home deliveries, Mater Florist recommends sending flowers and gifts that are already arranged in a container as there are usually limited suitable vases available.               
Some hospitals do not allow flowers and potted plants in Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Special Care Units and Oncology areas. As alternatives, Mater Florist suggests to send Balloons, Silk Flowers, Gourmet Hampers or other Gifts for Hospital Patients.

DELIVERY TO BRISBANE CITY AND LOCAL SUBURBS ---- Flat Rate $20

• Standard delivery charge to Brisbane City and Local Brisbane suburbs is $20.
  This flat rate delivery offer relates strictly to Internet orders only.
• Same day delivery is available (Monday to Friday) if orders are received before 12 noon (EST),
  excluding peak floral periods. Orders received after 12 noon (EST) should be
  delivered the following day..
• Unfortunately, deliveries are NOT available on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.
• Requests for specific delivery times will be taken, but unfortunately cannot be guaranteed.
• During peak floral periods such as Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day,
  all orders should be placed at least three days in advance to ensure timely delivery. If orders
  are not placed three days in advanced, delivery on the required day can not be guaranteed.

• If nobody is home when flowers are delivered, the flowers will be left in the most discreet position available as the delivery fee you pay is for a single, one-off delivery only.
• Should a second delivery attempt be required, due to some of the reasons below, the additional delivery cost will be charged to your card charged as a second delivery fee. Examples include: access issues at place of delivery, such as internal security preventing access; there is no safe area to leave flowers unattended; incorrect address provided; or dogs are present on premises preventing access.

• Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed to all areas. Please contact us prior to placing your order if you require urgent or delivery within a specific time frame as these requests may incur additional delivery charges.
